(Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the official respondents to lift the crop of wheat as expeditiously as possible from the premises of Food Grain Market Begowal, Tehsil Bholath, District Kapurthala.

Learned counsel appearing for respondents No.4 and 5 has handed over a copy of letter dated 23.05.2025, issued by the District Manager, PUNSUP, Kapurthala to the District Controller, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, District Kapurthala, indicating that the crops of wheat have already been lifted.
