The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 21.01.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-1305-2026, whereby respondents were directed to decide the legal notice dated 17.09.2025 submitted by the petitioner by passing a speaking order.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ravneet Singh Joshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that in compliance of the order dated 21.01.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-1305-2026, after considering the claim of the petitioner, a speaking order dated 13.05.2026 has been passed by the Senior Medical VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2026.05.16 12:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
COCP-2377-2026 (O&M) -2Officer Incharge, District Hospital, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. He has produced a copy of the said speaking order in Court, which is taken on record. A copy thereof has been given to learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.
In view of the above, since order dated 21.01.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-1305-2026, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.
Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 13.05.2026.
