This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS / 482 of Cr.P.C for issuance of directions to the official respondents to register a cross FIR against the accused persons named in the representation (Annexure P-1) and (Annexure P-5) for the merciless attack on the petitioner, her husband and her mother in law on 15.12.2024 wherein FIR No. 289 dated 15.12.2024 registered at Police Station City Tarn Taran. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 01.04.2025 Annexure P-5 to respondent No.3- Deputy Inspector General of Police, Border Range Ferozepur but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.3RENU RAWAT 2026.05.13 15.28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Deputy Inspector General of Police, Border Range Ferozepur to consider and decide the dated 01.04.2025 Annexure P-5 of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
