It is claimed that due to typographical mistake, one khasra number has wrongly been mentioned in the sale-deed of the Society vide which it purchased the land. It is further alleged that the khasra number which was actually sold to the Society inadvertently was recorded under the ownership of the Improvement Trust and has been further sold. On this premise, the petitioners seek exchange of khasra numbers as mentioned in the head note of the writ petition. A legal notice to this effect has already been served.
