The prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioners is accepted on the issue of grant of equivalent salary to Creche teachers and Caretakers who earn wages at DC rates and serve in Central Jails in Punjab to be brought at par with Primary teachers in Government service. 2.

The complaint is that the petitioners are being paid fixed salaries for a very long time with no revision or increase in salary which is causing stagnation, heartburn and loss will to work. 3.

Similarly situated petitioners had approached this court in CWP # 12464 of 2015 which was disposed of on June 29, 2015 with the direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim similar to the claim in this petition in accordance with law within a period of three months. Copy of the order is attached as Annexure P-4.

Needless to say that the competent authority in the respondent would pass a reasoned order and in case, hearing is required, the same would be offered before taking a final decision.
