(Oral) The petitioner by way of present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeks quashing of order dated 22nd March, 2018 (Annexure P-4), whereby, the petitioner had been disqualified in respect of the contract of Canteen in New Grain market, Gurdaspur for the year 2018-19. 2.

Learned counsel for respondent No.4 has filed the written statement along with copy of the order dated 16th May, 2018 (appended as Annexure R-4/1) in Court today, whereby, the representation dated 24.03.2018 (wrongly mentioned as 24.03.2017 in the order) filed by the petitioner had been rejected by passing a speaking order.

The aforesaid written statement filed on behalf of respondent No.4 is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. A copy thereof has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, perusing the averments made in the writ petition, since during the pendency of the writ petition, vide order Jawala Ram 2018.05.24 16:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 10464 of 2018 - 2 - dated 16th May, 2018, the representation dated 24th March, 2018, filed by the petitioner has been rejected, therefore, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition by permitting the petitioner to challenge the order dated 16th May, 2018, in accordance with law.
