Mr. Harsimran Singh Sethi, Addl.A.G., Punjab. **** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing memo and order dated July 23, 2017, Annexure P-1. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy of civil suit. He has relied upon judgment reported as 'Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam versus Harjit Singh, 2014 (1) RCR (Civil) 100'. Learned counsel representing respondents do not dispute the ratio of judgment in the case of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam's case (supra). Petitioner shall be at liberty to rely upon the same. Disposed of.
