Compromise dated 28.08.2021 (Annexure P-3) is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place. CRM-M-36661-2021 By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks regular bail in case bearing FIR No.77 dated 07.07.2021, registered under Sections 307, 452, 323, 436, 148, 149 IPC, at Police Station City-II, Malerkotla, District Sangrur. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no injury has been attributed to the petitioner and that the petitioner has been in custody since 07.07.2021. He further submits that a compromise has been effected between the parties and that as the co-accused have already been granted the concession of regular/anticipatory bail, the petitioner may also be granted such concession, on the ground of parity.

CRM-M-36661-2021 -2On the other hand, learned State counsel assisted by learned counsel for the complainant while opposing the prayer for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, does not dispute the factum of compromise effected between the parties. He, however, submits that the petitioner used derogatory remarks against the complainant, following which other assailants/co-accused came at the spot and burned the tent house of the complainant. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. #
