Prayer in the present petition is for directing the official respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Police Station Women Cell, Patiala is violating the terms of Article 21 of the Constitution of India. 2.

On being confronted with the fact that wife of the petitioner herein earlier approached this Court by means of CRWP-2705-2026 titled as 'Balwinder Kaur Vs. State of Punjab and others', which was decided vide order dated 11.03.2026 by a Coordinate Bench and now similar relief has been sought for, he seeks withdrawal of the present petition at this stage. 3.

Disposed of as withdrawn at this stage.
