(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution for setting aside the letter/order dated 17th May, 2017 (appended as Annexure P-10), vide which the tender allotted to the petitioner had been cancelled. A further prayer has also been made for directing the respondents to allot the work to 5 vehicles of the petitioner being fully eligible and work for 7 vehicle is lying vacant. 2.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, perusing the averments made in the petition, we find that the impugned letter/order Annexure P-10 does not contain any reasons recorded by the respondents and it also does not satisfy the requirements of principle of natural justice. Accordingly, we find Annexure P-10 is legally untenable and is, thus, set aside. It is clarified that it shall be open to respondent No.4 to pass a fresh speaking order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in Jawala Ram 2017.08.24 16:21 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Learned counsel for the petitioner did not raise any objection to the same.
