By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to count the service rendered by him as Supervisor in Adult Education Scheme as qualifying service for pensionary benefits. And further to grant the revised pensionary benefits after counting his service and to give the consequent arrears of revised pensionary benefits along with interest thereon @ 12% p.a.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though demand notice dated 27.02.2018 (P-6) was duly served upon the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any decision has been taken thereon. Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director Public Instructions (SE), Punjab, Complex Punjab School Education Board, Sector 62, SAS Nagar, Mohali to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in demand notice dated 27.02.2018 (P-6) and to decide the same strictly in accordance with Rules, regulations and instructions as well as in view of judgment passed by this Court in CWP No. 5526 of 2012, dated 26.04.2017 (P-5), within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, if petitioners still feel aggrieved by any order of the aforesaid authority, they shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
