***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to count the service rendered by them as Supervisors in Adult Education Scheme as qualifying service for pensionary benefits. And further to grant the revised pensionary benefits after counting his service and to give the consequent arrears of revised pensionary benefits along with interest thereon @ 12% p.a.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though demand notice dated 27.02.2018 (P-6) was duly served upon the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any decision has been taken thereon. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioners in demand notice dated 27.02.2018 (Annexure P-6) and to decide the same strictly in accordance with Rules, regulations and instructions as well as in view of judgment passed by this Court in CWP No. 5526 of 2012, dated 26.04.2017 (P-5), within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.
However, if the petitioners still feel aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, they shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available to them as well as to approach this Court.
