*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed seeking a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for release of the detenues, the detail of whom have been given in paragraph No.4 of the petition, stated to be in illegal custody of the private respondents No.4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the detenues are being treated as bonded labours and are not being paid any salary and are being retained at the brick kiln against their wishes. Notice of motion.

Learned State counsel submits that the Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur will look into the allegations alleged in the present petition and will pass appropriate order within a period of six weeks from today and in case, any action needs to be taken, the same will also be taken within the said period.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of the learned State counsel, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and he does not press this petition any further and may be disposed of as such. Ordered accordingly.
