Mr. Paviterdeep Singh Bhinder, Advocate for the petitioners. ***** KIRTI SINGH, J.(Oral) This petition has been filed for seeking direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent No.3 (i.e. police official of P.S. Nighdu Karnal, District Karnal) as petitioners are being called to the police station, without following due procedure of law and are being unnecessarily harassed, tortured and threatened by the police officials.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a time bound direction is given to the competent authority to look into the matter and their representation dated 11.06.2024 (Annexure P-2) is decided in a time bound manner. 3.
Notice of motion to the official respondents only. 4.
Mr. Rahul Dev Singh, Addl. AG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice for the official respondents. Counsel for the petitioners is directed to supply a copy of complete paper book to the counsel appearing for the State during the course of the day.

In view of the above and without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3 to look into the matter and to decide the representation dated 11.06.2024 (Annexure P-2) within two weeks from receipt of certified copy of this order in accordance with law and to provide necessary protection to the petitioners in case situation so warrants.
