(ORAL) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a direction to third respondent-Commission to recommend the petitioner for the post of PGT Home Science in BCB Category by considering her qualification of Masters of Science in Nutrition Biology equivalent to the requisite qualification. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, submitted that the matter of equivalence was referred to Kurukshetra University for clarification. A communication, dated 02.07.2025, has been received from the University Registrar that the petitioner's degree is equivalent to the requisite qualification of M.Sc Home Science which reads as under:

In this regard, it is to inform you that your letter under reference has been considered by the Committee and recommendations of the Committee duly approved by the competent authority is reproduced as under :- PUSHPINDER SAINI 2025.09.09 17:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-14603-2025 -2- "On basis of the report, the Committee recommends that the Master of Science (Nutrition Biology) of Central University of Haryana may be considered as equivalent to M.Sc. (Home Science) for the purpose of PGT (Home Science)." In terms therewith, the Department has already sent the report to the Commission to take appropriate action.

Learned counsel for the Commission submits that after considering the report, appropriate decision regarding recommending the petitioner for appointment as per merit will be taken within four weeks. In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof. 5.
