Prayer in this petition is for directing the respondents to release retiral benefits i.e. Gratuity, Leave encashment, Provident Fund, Dearness Allowance, arrears of revised pay scale of 2016 etc. It is submitted that petitioner retired on 31.08.2021 from the post of Pump Operator but retiral benefits have not been released to him without any rhyme or reason. No inquiry or departmental proceedings, it is stated, are pending against the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that representation dated 09.11.2021 has been submitted by the petitioner for release of retiral beneifts but to no avail.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts the prayer for a decision on representation dated 09.11.2021 (Annexure P1), submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.

Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority, to decide representation dated 09.11.2021 (Annexure P1) by passing a speaking order, within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Amount, if any, found due to the petitioner be released within two months thereafter.
