In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioner is that the date of birth of the petitioner in her matriculation certificate has wrongly been recorded as 13.09.1996 instead of 13.09.1999, which needs to be rectified as the same is causing prejudice to the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already raised the said grievance before the respondent No. 1 i.e. the authorities concerned but, no action has been taken by respondent No. 1 so far, which is causing prejudice to the petitioner. 3.

CWP-14537-2025 Senior Standing Counsel for respondent No. 1 who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that in case, any application seeking correction of date of birth of the petitioner in her matriculation certificate has been submitted by the petitioner in the office of the concerned authorities or the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order and in case, the petitioner is found entitled for grant of any relief, the same will be granted to her, otherwise due reasons for not accepting the claim of the petitioner will be mentioned in the speaking order the said reasons will also be conveyed to the petitioner for her information and necessary action.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
