(ORAL) This is a petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of prohibition prohibiting the respondents from dispensing with the service of the petitioners and replacing them with another temporary arrangement; as also seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents for continuation of service of the petitioners for the post of Sub-Staff/PTS on permanent basis from temporarily basis as per their seniority.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Gaurav Goel, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that in view of the circular dated 20.10.2021, which is taken on record, issued by the General Manager (HR), Human Resources Department, Union Bank of India, Central Office, Mumbai, the services of the petitioners are not being terminated, as of now. In view of this statement, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.
