Mr. Anand Kumar, Advocate, appears on behalf of nonapplicant/respondents and he has no objection in case the present application is allowed.

In view of the reasons mentioned in the application as well as no objection by learned counsel for the non-applicant/respondent, the instant application is allowed. Main petition (CWP-16400-2022) is taken on board today itself.

In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order dated 20.05.2021 (Annexure P-2) whereby claim of the petitioner for counting of daily wage service as qualifying service for the purpose of pension/pensionary and retiral benefits was rejected.

A perusal of the reply already filed on behalf of the respondents shows that it was the case of the petitioner that on the same issue, SLP (C) No.15294 of 2014 titled Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. Vs. Sneh Lata Gupta is pending before Hon'ble the Supreme Court. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that abovesaid SLP has been dismissed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court. 4.

Faced with the above, learned counsel for the respondents submits that in the light of the fact that abovesaid SLP has been dismissed, the representation dated 20.03.2021 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner would be considered, in accordance with law.

In view of above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the representation dated 20.03.2021 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
