Through the instant writ petition, the petitioners have sought a writ in the nature of prohibition, restraining the respondents from making operational the parking area in front of shop-cum- flats bearing Nos. 48 to 67, belonging to the petitioners, situated at Grain Market towards GT Road, Malout on contract, pursuant to the advertisement published in Ajit Newspaper on 27.4.2017.

Without expression of any opinion on merits of the case, it is sufficient to observe here that the petitioners have submitted a detailed representation dated 23.5.2017 (Annexure P-3) to the District Mandi Officer, Office of District Mandi Officer, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Secretary, Punjab Mandi Board, Mohali and Deputy Commissioner- cum- District Magistrate, Sri Mukatsar Sahib.

The writ petition is disposed of, at this stage ,with a direction to District Mandi Officer- respondent No.1 to consider the representation (Annexure P-3) of the petitioners within a period of two months after the receipt of a certified copy of the order.
