In both the writ petitions, the question for consideration before this Court is that whether the services of the petitioner can be terminated on account of contesting elections and whether the petitioners can be directed to relinquish either of the post from twin post held by them as Anganwari workers and Members, Panchayat Samiti Block.

CWP No.16604 and 16396 of 2016 It has remained undisputed that the relief sought by the petitioners in the above writ petitions had already been sought by another applicants/petitioners before this Court in CWP No. 4769 of 2016 titled as Smt. Bimla Devi vs. Union of India and others, decided on 10.09.2018. The aforesaid petition was allowed by interpreting Rules and Regulations. Therefore, for the parity of reasoning, this petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 10.09.2018 rendered in CWP No. 4769 of 2016.
