The alleged detenues, whose names have been mentioned in Para No.2 of the petition, are stated to be working in a Brick Kiln under the name and style KBC, situated in the area of Village Agwanpur, Tehsil Ganaur, Police Station Ganaur, District Sonepat (Haryana). Learned counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that the petitioner has also moved application dated 29.09.2020 (Annexure P-1) to the Deputy Commissioner, District Sonepat, however, no action has been taken to release the detenues.

The District Magistrate of the District is the competent authority as per Chapter-IV of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976 to deal with such like matters. The petitioner, therefore, is relegated to avail the remedy before the District Magistrate concerned. In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of.
