(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside order dated 13.07.2022 (Annexure P-17) passed by Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Department, SAS Nagar, Mohali vide which respondent No.7 was reinstated as Sarpanch without appreciating the facts and ignoring the merits of the case, only after relying upon inquiry report dated 20.06.2022 (Annexure P-16) conducted by respondent No.2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has instructions from the petitioner to withdraw the instant writ petition. 3.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
