The present petition has been filed alleging contempt of the order dated 22.03.2024 passed by this Court in CA-73-74-2022, CA-111-2022, CA3-2021, CA-216-2022 and CA-148-2019. The directions given by the Court vide order dated 22.03.2024 were inter alia that the necessary payments be made to the concerned workmen whose claims have been verified by the panel Chartered Accountants vide its report dated 04.04.2022. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent has pointed that as per the compliance report the amount has partly been paid as part of the land is yet to be sold. Learned counsel has further pointed out that an application being CA89-90-2025 IN OLR-20-2022 and CA-228-2016 in CP-71-2000 was filed for clarification in which the Court has clarified vide order dated 23.05.2025 as under :

COCP-2093-2024 (O&M) -2- 'Keeping in view the above-said facts and circumstances, the present application is disposed of with the clarification/modification in the order dated 22.03.2024 to the effect that further amount would be released to the workmen after the sale of the land measuring 111.28 acres by the Official Liquidator and after the funds are credited into account of the Official Liquidator.

Needless to say that the office of the Official Liquidator would make every effort to sell the said land as expeditiously as possible. The office of the Official Liquidator would also consider the aspect as to whether any proceeding could be initiated for enhancing the compensation amount received on account of acquisition of land, by their office'.

In view of the clarification dated 23.05.2025, no contempt is made out and the present petition is accordingly dismissed. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. 05.09.2025 (ALKA SARIN) Aman Jain JUDGE NOTE:
