*** Harsimran Singh Sethi, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging that he has apprehension about his safety and has prayed this Court that his life and liberty be protected, which is under threat at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner is complainant in respect of FIR No.274 dated 25.06.2020, which has been registered at Police Station Gurugram and after the registration of the said FIR, he is receiving threats from the private respondents and has prayed that his life and liberty be protected at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already approached respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, NARESH KUMAR 2020.10.07 15:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CRWP No.8050 of 2020 -2Gurugram vide representation dated 15.09.2020 (Annexure P/3) and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to respondents No.2 i.e. Commissioner of Police, Gurugram to decide the said representation in a time bound manner.
Ms. Safia Gupta, AAG, Haryana, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition raises no objection in deciding the representation dated 15.09.2020 (Annexure P/3) submitted by the petitioner in a time bound manner.
In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, respondent No.2 is directed to decide representation dated 15.09.2020 (Annexure P/3) by passing a speaking order within a period of six weeks from today and in case after the decision, any action is required to be taken, the same be also taken.
Present writ petition stands disposed of.
