CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J. (ORAL) The writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of the letter dated 16.01.2017 (Annexure P-3).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that regular enquiry on allegation is stated to be pending, however, the suspension order has been passed and the same was assailed which has been dismissed vide order dated 03.01.2017 (Annexure P-2). In the meantime, the respondents have come out with a letter of appointing acting Sarpanch as interim measure. He submits that he will be satisfied in case Enquiry Officerrespondent No.2, who is holding the enquiry, be directed to expedite the enquiry proceedings and conclude the same as early as possible within a fixed time line.

Keeping in view the fact that the prayer sought is most innocuous, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 to conclude the enquiry, stated to be pending before him, within a period of six months from today. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
