State of Haryana and others
...Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. C.S. Singhal, Advocate for the petitioner. *** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. Feeling aggrieved by the impugned order (Annexure P-8) passed by Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, Panchkula imposing penalty of stoppage of three annual increments with cumulative effect and ordering recovery of Rs.43,752/- on account of loss caused to the department, petitioner Mahesh Kumar working as driver with Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, Panchkula has brought the present Civil Writ Petition challenging the impugned order.
Admittedly, the petitioner employee has not availed of the remedy by filing appeal/revision against the impugned order to the higher authorities and has straightway approached this Court. Therefore, the present writ petition cannot proceed further, the same is disposed of relegating to the petitioner to the remedy of approaching the departmental authorities by way of filing appeal/revision etc. provided under Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 2016.
