The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.71 dated 27.03.2019 registered under Sections 22/29/61 of the NDPS Act, at Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim direction granted vide order dated 08.07.2019, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned counsel appearing for the State of Punjab, being instructed by ASI Surjit Singh, has not disputed the fact regarding petitioners' joining the investigation.
