G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) In pursuance of the order dated 01.06.2017, a sum of `10,000/- by way of demand draft in favour of the Registrar (General) of this Court has been produced by counsel for the petitioner. Similarly, the respondents have produced the original OMR answer sheet, photocopy of which has already been produced by the petitioner as Annexure P-4.

Counsel for the petitioner has examined the same and could not find any difference as such as to the one which has been appended. The argument, thus, raised that there was a mistake in the checking does not find any favour with the Court. Resultantly, the argument raised that the petitioner had got the requisite 154 marks and should have been called for interview is not liable to be accepted. Nothing has been as such brought on record to show that the answer key as such was defective in any manner or the petitioner was entitled for more marks on that account as even the Shivani Gupta 2017.07.14 16:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 12599 of 2017 question paper has not been placed on record. In such circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that there is no scope for interference. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. The said draft be deposited with the Registrar (General) of this Court and thereafter, the amount of `10,000/- be forwarded to respondent no. 2 as the necessary costs of litigation. The original OMR sheet is returned to counsel for the State.
