Dated Police Station Sections 31.05.2024 Nathu Sari Chopta, 420 & 506 IPC District Sirsa Seeking directions to the respondent for conducting fair, impartial and speedy investigation in the FIR captioned above, the petitioner has come up before this court by filing the present petition under Section 482 CrPC. 2.

Status report has been handed over by the State in the Court and the same is taken on record. Copy thereof supplied to counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Counsel for the State submits that police is investigating the matter and the FIR was only registered on 31.05.2024, which shows that there is no delay. Counsel further submits that they have also conducted the preliminary inquiry/investigation and they do not intend to delay the matter.

Given the above statement, present petition has been rendered infructuous. Petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation before the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner of Police, within two weeks from today. CRM-M-30531-2024 Commissioner of Police, within two months, either himself/herself or by authorizing and delegating it to any officer of State level cadre. It is clarified that such order must be a reasoned order, and the same be communicated to the representationists as well as his counsel, without any delay.

Liberty reserved to the petitioner to file fresh petition or to take other legal remedies in accordance with the law.

It is clarified that there is no adjudication on merits. It is further clarified that this order shall not come in the way if the interrogation of the petitioner is required in any cognizable case.
