Through the instant petition, a challenge is thrown to the order/letter dated 16.04.2018 (Annexure P-5), vide which the petitioner was ordered to vacate the government accommodation allotted to him, on his superannuation.

Today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.

Same has been the position since 22.01.2024.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, informs this Court, that in fact, the petitioner has already vacated the government house, way back on 30.11.2019, and thereafter, the said house was allotted multiple time to other eligible government employees. Therefore, the prayer, as made in the instant writ petition, has been rendered infructuous. 5.

Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. 6.

However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner, to revive the instant petition by filing an apt application, in case his grievance still survives.

All pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
