***** MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of impugned order dated 08.07.2020 (P-5) passed by respondent No.2, whereby the probation period of the petitioner has been fixed for three years from 16.09.2016 to 16.09.2019 instead of two years i.e. upto 16.09.2018.
In purusance of notice of motion issued by this Court, learned counsel for the respondents No.2 to 4, filed affidavit of Er. Gagandeep Singh, Senior Xen, Barnala and para No.2 of the same reads as under:- "2. That at the outset it is humbly submitted that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and the probation period of the petitioner has been treated as 16.09.2016 to 16.09.2018 instead of 16.09.2016 to 16.09.2019 vide office order No.345 dated 15.10.2020 SACHIN MEHTA 2021.02.22 18:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh

This has been done in view of the advice sought from the head office as well as in view of the advice from the department of personnel. A copy of the office order No.345 dated 15.10.2020 issued by Senior Executive Engineer, Sub Division City, Barnala is annexed herewith as Annexure R/1."
In view of the reply filed on behalf of respondents No.2 to 4, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition any further. Disposed off accordingly.
