(ORAL) The instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioners for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, quashing the merit list prepared of Teachers sought to be appointed pursuant to an advertisement dated 23.09.2009 (Annexure P-1). It is contended that the merit list has been prepared without allocating and counting experience gained by the petitioners while working in school affiliated with Punjab School Education Board. A reply has been filed by the Assistant Director (Recruitment) Office of Director of Public Instruction (Secondary Education), Punjab in which it is submitted that the merit list has been redetermined for the posts advertised and as per the revised result the marks of the last selected candidate is 62.4221. In the said affidavit, it is also submitted that as per the revised merit, five of the petitioners herein have been issued appointment Satyawan 2017.01.20 15:04 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CWP No. 20427 of 2013 -2letters and the claim of petitioner No.4 i.e. Nirmaljeet Kaur with registration No. 20070954, stands rejected by an order dated 12.01.2015. Nirmaljeet Kaur as per the revised merit list obtained 62.4000 marks which is lower than the last selected candidate in the merit list. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. In view of the fact that revised merit list has been prepared by giving the petitioners their additional marks for their experience, nothing survives in this writ petition.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
