  The present application has been filed for grant of interim bail to the petitioner for the period from 18.05.2026 to 03.06.2026 enabling him to attend the wedding of his real brother, which is scheduled to be held on 28/29.05.2026 in Kushinagar, U.P.

Learned counsel contends that being real brother of the bridegroom, it is very much essential for the petitioner to attend the marriage as certain rites and ceremonies are to be performed by him at the time of marriage.

In view of the above, the present application is disposed of with a direction to the Jail Superintendent, Central Jail, Ludhiana to make necessary arrangements for taking the applicant/petitioner under the police custody to the place of marriage at Kushinagar, U.P. on 28.05.2026 and to be brought back in the evening of 29.05.2026. Since the marriage ceremony is to be held in Kushinagar, U.P., the entire transport expenses for the same shall be borne by the applicant-petitioner.

Registry is directed to email/FAX copy of this order to the concerned Jail Superintendent.
