G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioners seek release of proficiency step up on completion of 4-9-14 years of regular service in view of the instructions issued by the Government from time to time being fully eligible and entitled for the same.
Counsel for the petitioners submits that for the redressal of his grievances, legal notice has been served upon the respondents on 01.10.2015 (Annexure P-6) but the same is pending consideration and he would be satisfied if a time bound decision is taken on the same. Notice of motion.
Mr. R.S. Sidhu, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Copy of the writ petition has been supplied to him in Court. Keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need for the respondents to file reply.
