Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for quashing the impugned order dated 02.09.2021 (P-5) passed by respondent No. 2, whereby claim of petitioner was rejected as he did not mention the Question Booklet Series in Column No. 2 before signing in the Column No. 3 of the OMR Sheet. Learned State Counsel has produced the result prepared by the Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (in short "Board") in a sealed cover, which is opened and perused. He has also apprised the Court that the Board has taken a decision on 26.10.2021 in the following manner:- "The approval is granted to evaluate the OMR sheets on the basis of the attendance sheet of those candidates, who have not marked the Question Booklet Alphabetic Series (A/B/C/D) in their OMR sheets for the Second stage Examination held on 05.09.2021, for the post of Ziledar, Patwari and Irrigation Booking Clerk."
