3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? --- Surya Kant, J. (Oral) The petitioners are residents of village Kheri Kalan, Sub-Tehsil Tigaon, Tehsil and District Faridabad. They claim to be belonging to poor strata of society living below poverty line. Their grievance is against the denial of allotment of 100 square yard plots in terms of the Government Policy dated 01.02.2008 though they statedly fulfill all the eligibility conditions. The petitioners raised such a claim before the authorities but it appears that process to finalize the list of eligible persons has not been completed.

Needless to say that the eligible and needed persons ought not to be denied the benefit of Government Policy on account of unending procedural lapses. We, thus, dispose of this writ petition, however without expressing any views on the entitlement of the petitioners though with a direction to the Deputy MOHINDER KUMAR 2015.09.01 11:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
