(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondent-authorities to consider and decide his first appeal dated 27.08.2021 (Annexure P-18) pending before them.

Ms. Anu Pal, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, on instructions, submits that the said appeal has been listed for 20.09.2021 and shall be taken up and decided expeditiously. She further submits that in case the petitioner files or has already filed an application for pre-ponement of the date of hearing before the respondent-authorities, they shall hear the same immediately and if possible pre-pone the date in the appeal and hear it at an early date, preferably within a week from the date it is listed for hearing. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, the petition stands disposed of.
