The petitioners have filed the present criminal writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue directions to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners as they were being harassed by the respondents. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Ranjit Singh submits that no complaint is pending against the petitioners and the petitioners shall not be called by the official respondents in connection with any inquiry.

In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, no further directions are required and the present petition is accordingly disposed off.
