Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala, District Gurdaspur to look into the representation (Annexure P-3) of petitioner that FIR No.26 dated 30.03.2019 registered at Police Station Kotli Surat Malhi is not being fairly investigated by the Investigating Officer. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala to look into the grievance of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be taken as expression of opinion on the merits of allegations levelled in representation (Annexure P-3) or in the FIR.
