By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of certiorari thereby declaring para 4 of instruction dated 12.12.2006 (P-6) issued by Punjab Govt. by which Contributory Pension Scheme introduced by respondents has been made applicable retrospectively. AND FURTHER a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to count daily wage service of late husbands of the petitioners, who had rendered before their respective regularization as qualifying service more than 15 years mentioned in detail chart (P-1) as well as to release gratuity along with interest @ 18% per annum. AND to grant family pension to the petitioners. 2.

He further submits that petitioners feel satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to decide the afore-said representation, within a stipulated period. 3.

Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioners in representation (P-16) and to decide the same in the light of judgment passed by this Court captioned as "Chhinder Pal Kaur and others v. State of Punjab and others", decided on 23.01.2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, if petitioners still feels aggrieved by any order of the aforesaid authority, they shall be at liberty to have recourse to the remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
