      The petitioner is seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondents No.2 and 3 to not harass him at the behest of respondents No.4 to 8.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioner was working as a Zonal Sales Manager in Inter Solar System Private Limited, where respondents No.4 to 8 were directors. Respondents No.4 to 8 after calling the petitioner to their factory had extended threats to him and also threatened to implicate him in a criminal case of some embezzlement, which had taken place in their company. Learned counsel, therefore, urged that there was a genuine apprehension that the petitioner could be falsely implicated in a case under the NDPS Act at the behest of the private respondents. More so, since the private respondents had taken forcible possession of his vehicle XUV 500 bearing registration No.DL-8-CAM 9756 since 16.06.2023.

Admittedly, no complaint has been made against the petitioner much less any FIR registered against him. Merely on the basis of a vague apprehension that the petitioner could be involved in a false case, this Court would loath to directions as prayed for. 5.

In view of the above, no ground is made out for issuance of directions as sought for.

The petition stands dismissed.
