(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in spite of giving representation, the caste of the petitioner has not been mentioned in the service record and a wrong has been committed by the respondentDepartment due to which, the petitioner has been deprived of his right of service benefits. Learned counsel also submits that a legal notice (Annexure P-13) was served upon the respondents but no action has been taken so far. The petitioner would be satisfied in case, directions are issued to decide legal notice.

Keeping in view the limited prayer of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the legal notice (Annexure P-13) and take necessary action in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Disposed of accordingly.
