Rakesh Kumar Jain, J. (oral) The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.3 to renew his Arms Licence No. 120/DM/Jind/March-2006.
After notice respondents have filed reply. In the short reply filed on behalf of respondent No.1, it is averred that the competent authority has not passed any order either for renewal or rejecting it.
Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that respondents cannot keep his case pending for all times to come as it has to take decision in his favour or otherwise. After hearing learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the prayer made in this petition, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide the application of the petitioner for renewal of his licence either way. Decision shall be taken within two months and conveyed to the petitioner.
