SUDEEPTI SHARMA, J Petitioner has sought quashing of FIR No.54 dated 09.04.2021 under Sections 384,511,120-B IPC and Sections 67 and 67-B of Information Technology Act, 2000 (Sections 12 & 14 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 added later on) registered at P.S City Sangrur, District Sangrur and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom with a further prayer to stay all the proceedings arising from the said FIR. At the time of hearing, learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner is acquitted of the charges vide judgment dated 15.12.2023 passed by the learned trial Court, thereby rendering the present petition infructuous.
