(Oral) The petitioners have filed this writ petition virtually seeking a decree for injunction on mere apprehension that the Gram Panchayat is likely to dispossess them forcibly. As of now, we do not see any substance in that apprehension. Since eviction proceedings under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 are stated to be pending against the petitioners, they may approach the Civil Court for grant of injunction, if need be. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. Dasti.
