The learned counsel representing the petitioners i.e. Employees Provident Fund Organization and Central Board of Trustees, Employees Provident Fund Organization prays for permission to withdraw this writ petition in view of the fact that the petitioners have been paid 17,79,993/- ₹ during the pendency of the writ petition. However, he submits that the petitioners may be permitted to claim the balance of the dues from the respondent No.3.

Civil Writ Petition No. 17447 of 2015 (O&M) the respondent No.6 , submits that the petitioner No.1-Employees Provident Fund Organization, on the one hand, wants to withdraw the writ petition, whereas in another writ petition, it claims more amount. 3.

Be that as it may.

Once the petitioners wish to withdraw the writ petition, this Court does not find it appropriate to keep the matter pending, particularly, when the writ petition has been filed only for claim of 19,77,770/-. It is ₹ clarified that all the arguments of the respondent No.6 are kept open and shall be decided separately in the connected writ petition i.e. Civil Writ Petition No. 20816 of 2021 wherein the Employees Provident Fund Organization is also a party.

With the observations made above, the present writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. The miscellaneous application(s) pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
