*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is that they were appointed on the post of Chowkidar/Sewadar on 23.12.2011 and are working since then. Their services are governed under the Punjab Agriculture Produce Market Act and Service Rules. Out of total posts, 10% are to be filled up by way of appointment from Class IV employees. The petitioners have served a legal notice upon the respondents on 23.02.2017 but no action has been taken so far.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied in case, directions are issued to the respondents to consider the legal notice (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law within some stipulated period.

Keeping in view the limited prayer of the petitioners and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No.3 and 4 to Neetu Rani 2017.07.25 12:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.12934 of 2017 consider legal notice dated 23.02.2017 (Annexure P-5) and take necessary action in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, the petitioners are found to be entitled as per their claim in the legal notice, the necessary relief be granted to them within a period of two months thereafter and in case, any adverse order is passed, the same shall be detailed and speaking. In case, the petitioners are required to be heard in person, the opportunity be granted to them.

Disposed of accordingly.
