The petitioner incarcerated in the FIR captioned above has come up before this Court under Section 439 CrPC seeking bail.

As per para 15 of the petition, the petitioner declared that he is not involved in any other FIR. However, para 15 of the reply discloses the following criminal antecedents: Sr. No.

Criminal antecedents are one of the most important aspects while granting or rejecting bail. The petitioner chose not to disclose the criminal history correctly. Given the above, the present petition is dismissed with the liberty to file fresh after disclosing all criminal antecedents relating to any part of India or abroad. It is clarified that if the petitioner does not attach a new power of attorney [Vakalatnama], then the Registry shall not raise an objection in regard, and the vakalatnama filed in this petition shall suffice.
