The limited prayer in the present petition is that the objections filed by the petitioners be considered by the respondents in a time-bound manner.

Mr. Saurabh Mago, DAG Haryana, who has put in appearance on advance notice, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4 and waives service. Learned State counsel has relied upon the order dated 30.03.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-9492-2026 wherein directions have already been issued to decide all the objections which have been received under Section 21(2) of the East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948 within a period of two months. Learned State counsel has further apprised the Court that out of total 46 objections, 19 stand decided and the rest of them would be dealt with on 19.05.2026.
